ORANGE CHICKEN

Orange chicken is commonly found in any fast food restaurant especially in Chinese restaurant. This is always my children’s favorite dish and love to eat even without rice. You can use instant orange juice for your delicious orange flavored chicken recipe and if you like your chicken a little spicy, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
In a bowl combine flour, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken in beaten egg and shake in flour mixture to coat. Then deep fry chicken until golden brown in color (do not over fry), set aside. Meanwhile, in another saucepan sauté garlic and ginger then add the mixture of water, orange juice, rice vinegar, brown sugar and low sodium soy sauce blend well over medium heat for a few minutes, then add the chicken. Mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with a small amount of water then slowly stirs into sauce until it thickens. Remove from heat. Garnish with onion spring. Ready to serve and Enjoy eating.

Boneless Chicken Breast
Water
Flour
Egg
Salt and Pepper
Cooking Oil for deep frying
 (Sauce)
Orange juice
Low sodium soy sauce
Rice vinegar
Brown Sugar
Cornstarch
(Others)
Minced Garlic
Ginger
Red Pepper Flakes
Spring Onion
